About me
Vikki started diving in the nineties and soon discovered she had a passion for more challenging diving, especially cave diving. She quickly moved into trimix diving and then CCR as she explored further and deeper into caves.
In 1999 Vikki and her partner started The Eau Zone PADI Five Star IDC Centre, opening EAU2 Technical Diver Training a year later. Vikki became a Course Director in 2005, enabling them to train PADI Instructors.
In 2010 Vikki joined PADI’s UK office. She was heavily involved in the development and writing of the Rebreather, Tec CCR, Sidemount and Tec Sidemount courses, their launch and establishment in the market. She has also worked on updates to the Ice Diver, Open Water Diver, Advanced Open Water Diver and Instructor Development Courses.
Working for PADI, Vikki also fulfilled a long held ambition to become a PADI Examiner and help new instructors through their Instructor Examinations.
During her time at PADI Vikki travelled extensively to conduct Instructor Trainer courses, take part in photo and video shoots and industry events. She loves to meet people, whether they are divers, instructors or industry members and puts a high value on the feedback and perspective this gives and the influence that has had on her work.
Vikki is now drawing on her experience as a dive industry professional and working as a freelance writer in the scuba diving industry.
